POSITION TITLE: Machine Operator II DEPARTMENT: Finishing
REPORTS TO: Finishing Shift Supervisor
EXEMPT / NON-EXEMPT: NON-EXEMPT
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
1. Ability to effective feed and operate the following machines: Collators, Tape Layers, Laminators and Die Cutters.
2. Follow all applicable sop's (standard operating procedures).
3. Receive job ticket and examine proof.
4. Locate job.
5. Receives sign off or approval from Machine Tech or Finishing Supervisor before running the job.
6. Run job. Inspect sheets while the job is running to ensure job specifications are and quality requirements are being met.
7. Stop the job in the event of a major technical problem or if the job is outside the required specifications.
8. Follow good ergonomic practices. Take care when lifting, fanning and moving sheets. Avoid dragging sheets, which cause scratches and other defects.
9. Move finished job to next department after clearing the job out of the area in accordance with security rules.
10. Accurately enters required information into the data gathering system.
11. Keep staging areas organized and ensure paperwork is in place to properly identify all jobs.
12. Meet the expected outputs and quality requirements for the machine.
13. Maintain established Machine Safety Requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. Frequent hand/arm motion, standing, and walking.
2. Lifting up to 45 lbs.
3. Full understanding of equipment.
4. Ability to use tools for minor adjustments.
5. Good mathematical skills.
6. Works Overtime as necessaryEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
