- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying accuracy of contents against shipping documents - Unload, unpack, and properly store incoming materials in designated storage areas - Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation - Coordinate with carriers and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to schedule pickups and deliveries - Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments - Perform regular inventory counts to ensure stock accuracy - Collaborate with other departments to resolve any shipping or receiving discrepancies - Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks as needed Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in shipping and receiving preferred - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Proficiency in data collection and entry - Knowledge of SQL and Tableau is a plus - Familiarity with retail management systems is a plus - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Please note that this job may require heavy lifting and materials handling.
