Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner - Take customer orders and provide recommendations on food and beverage options - Enter orders accurately into the POS system - Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers - Handle cash transactions, operate cash register, and provide accurate change - Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to increase sales - Ensure cleanliness of dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors - Assist with food preparation and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required - Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional service to guests - Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is a plus - Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling cash transactions - Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
