You'll ensure excellent customer service by displaying excellent dental assisting skills, a warm personality chair side, and a team player attitude.
Our dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail.
You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office protocols.
M-Th every other Sat.
Responsibilities Welcome patients in the dental office Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Set up treatment rooms with proper instruments and dental supplies utilizing our protocol sheets.
Sterilize instruments according to OSHA regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed.
(Pouring models, utilizing iTero scanner for Crown, Bridge and Implant procedures Keep the dental treatment rooms clean and well-stocked and monitor inventory for any needed items.
Schedule appointments from treatment planner, assist with setting up other family members appointments as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records by entering clinical notes, updating dental charts, patient medical history and any miscellaneous patient notes.
Monitor Patients under Nitrous Sedation when necessary Skills Proven experience as dental assistant Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Knowledge of 4 handed assisting for general dental procedures.
Knowledge of assisting for surgery is given preference.
Be social and engaging with our patients.
Certified in Coronal Polishing Prior use of a practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, Ascend) Well-organized, reliable, and performs work with integrity and can follow office Core Values and uphold themselves to highest standards.
